May I introduce myself?

My name is Lucas Hafner.

Bachelor in Art History & Archaeology and Latin. Master of Arts Archaeology.

Research assistant at Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz (Germany) for several years as a co-editor on Volume No. 14 (The Art of Antiquity) of the Critical Complete Edition of the Works of Jacob Burckhardt.

While editing, my transciption skills are combined with meticulous working and the interest in both archaeological and disciplinary history topics.

In addition to my studies of archeology, art history and Latin, I have been a passionate family researcher for many years.

In all these areas, dealing with the originals is necessary and at the same time incredibly exciting, as it gives you direct insight into past times – which in turn trains the understanding of our present.
